Uncrustables® Products Nutrition Facts

When something is both delicious and convenient, like Smucker′s® Uncrustables® sandwiches, Bites and Roll-Ups are, it′s natural to have questions. What′s in it? How many calories are in a serving? What′s the nutritional value?

If you′re looking for reliable facts, you′ve come to the right place. While other sources often attempt to answer nutrition questions about Uncrustables® products, their info may be outdated, incomplete or just plain mistaken. Here you′ll find the most current, complete and accurate information, straight from the source.

To answer this question, first we have to define ′′healthy."

The FDA and USDA require that a food product must meet all the following requirements to be described as healthy:

  • Low fat
  • Low saturated fat
  • 90 mg of cholesterol or less
  • At least one of the following nutrients at 10% DV or higher
    • Calcium
    • Iron
    • Protein
    • Fiber
    • Potassium
    • Vitamin D

Uncrustables® products do not meet that definition.

If you're wondering whether Uncrustables® products are low-fat or low-calorie foods, please be aware that they are not. They are also not, by themselves, complete and balanced meals. Enjoy Uncrustables® sandwiches, Bites, and Roll-Ups as part of a balanced diet.

Please note that Uncrustables® products come in a variety of flavors, with different sizes available at different locations, and specific nutrition facts vary by size and flavor. For details, check your product′s label or see below.

No. We do, however, encourage you to check the ingredient statement if you have a food allergy or ingredient intolerance.

Uncrustables® products sold in regular grocery stores have anywhere from 150 to 250 calories per serving. The classic two-ounce Uncrustables® Peanut Butter & Grape Jelly Sandwich contains 210 calories per serving.

A two-ounce Uncrustables Peanut Butter & Grape Jelly Sandwich provides 6 grams (5% DV) of protein* per serving. The amount of protein in other Uncrustables® sandwiches varies by type and size. Please check the label for nutrition information.

For Uncrustables® Bites sold at grocery stores, the amount of protein per serving ranges from 6 to 8 grams based on the variety.

Uncrustables® Roll-Ups sold at grocery stores contain between 9 and 10 grams of protein per serving, depending on the variety you choose.

Club stores and schools offer different sizes, which have slightly different nutrition facts, as reflected on their labels.

*Contains 9 g fat, 2 g saturated fat, and 220 mg sodium per serving.

If you′re buying Uncrustables® products from a typical grocery store, sugar content ranges from 3 grams per serving (for Roll-Ups and certain Bites) to 11 grams per serving in some of our thaw-and-eat sandwiches. Regular two-ounce Uncrustables® Peanut Butter & Grape Jelly Sandwiches contain 10 grams of sugar per serving.

Reduced sugar options (Reduced Sugar Peanut Butter & Grape Spread Sandwich on Wheat Bread and Reduced Sugar Peanut Butter & Strawberry Spread Sandwich on Wheat Bread) contain 7 grams of sugar per serving.

The sizes served at schools and sold at club stores are slightly bigger, so you′ll notice that the nutrition facts on the label vary slightly.

No, we updated our recipes in 2017 and replaced all high fructose corn syrup with sugar.

In the Uncrustables® products available at regular grocery stores, total fat content ranges from 4.5 grams to 14 grams per serving, and saturated fat ranges from 1.5 grams to 6 grams per serving. Sizes sold at club stores or served through schools have slightly different amounts per serving because they′re slightly larger.

As you′d expect, the ingredients depend on the type of Uncrustables® product you choose. Our PB&J-type sandwiches include white or wheat bread on the outside and various spreads on the inside. Our Roll-Ups contain flatbread, meat, cheese and, in some cases, seasoning. Our Bites (microwavable products) are made of bread, meat, cheese, seasoning, and sauce or salsa.

Please see the Uncrustables® products nutrition facts by flavor below for the complete ingredient lists.

No, Uncrustables® products are not vegan. Our PB&J-style sandwiches may contain milk. Our Bites and Roll-Ups contain meat and cheese.

Yes, many Uncrustables® products are Certified NSF Non-GMO True North™ by NSF International. These products include all our peanut butter and jelly, jam or spread sandwiches.

No, Uncrustables® products are not classified as organic.

A product or ingredient can only be called a ′′jelly′′ or ′′jam′′ based on specific FDA definitions, which say that they have to contain a certain proportion of sugar, by weight. Reducing the sugar content to create our reduced sugar products causes the fruit spreads to no longer meet the FDA definitions of ′′jelly′′ or ′′jam."

Uncrustables® products come in multiple forms and flavors, as well as different serving sizes for different purposes. For example, sandwiches distributed through schools are slightly bigger to meet standard nutritional requirements for school meals. Uncrustables® products sold through club stores also come in larger sizes than the ones sold at traditional grocery stores. Of course, the flavor and serving size affects the nutritional information.

What′s shown below reflects the nutrition facts for Uncrustables® products sold through traditional grocery stores. If you′re looking for details about a particular size or variety not mentioned here, please refer to the label or reach out to our team for assistance.
